Tecate’s New Can Design

#myfastopinion Following the example of Coca-Cola, the Mexican beer Tecate redesigned its packaging and brand creating a unified and consistent brand.

Great change! I like the way they created a system that works perfectly in the three variations and how they decided to differentiate the types of beer with just a color and not with different typographies and “logos” as it was before.

Clever decision to delete the rocky mountains because they belong to Coors Light, and I find it interesting how the eagle became a design element that changes according to each beer (gray area).

Just one thing… why putting the eagle as if it was holding the wordmark? WHY!? I hate it, and it doesn’t look right. Respect the symbol and logo, you have other elements to play.
